How to Prep Your Car for a Mobile Detail in Naples

A great detail starts before we arrive. When we show up to a car that’s ready to go, we spend every minute on the actual cleaning, not on moving stuff around. Here’s exactly what to do in the five minutes before your appointment.

1. Empty out personal items

Pull anything you don’t want us to touch: cash, change, sunglasses, charging cables, garage remotes, medication, kids’ toys. We’re going into every crevice. Removing personal stuff lets us deep-clean without the awkward “is this yours or trash?” moment.

2. Move car seats out of the way

Child seats especially — they block cleaning around the seat rails and under the base. Either unclip them before we arrive or let us know and we’ll work around them.

3. Park somewhere with space

We need about 8 feet of clearance around the car on all sides to work efficiently. A driveway, garage with the door open, or condo space with room to move around is ideal. Shade is a bonus — especially for exterior work in Southwest Florida summer heat.

4. Water and power (if we asked)

For exterior packages, we’ll either bring water or use a regular outdoor spigot. Power for the vacuum comes from a standard outlet. If your setup doesn’t have these, we carry self-contained rigs — just tell us ahead of time.

5. Tell us about problem spots

Spilled coffee last week? Sunscreen stain? Pet accident? A quick text or note at booking lets us bring the right products. We don’t judge — we just want to fix it.

That’s it
